I didn't have time to give you this info so here I am, right now. My teacher, Maya, Lola and I (Jasper) were walking to this small convience store near our school and homes. We were all happy skipping up to the crosswalk when some girls in our grade and they're like, "A baby got hit! A baby got hit by a car!" and when we looked we saw at least 7 police cars and 2 ambulances. We quickly decided to cross the street to get to the convience store (We needed the sweet relief of a 3 Musketeers bar and some Root Beer!) and we couldn't help looking. Many officers were crowded around something small next to a stretcher. Poor me,(Jasper) I started to cry! I mean, that's just sad! We found from a friend that he and his grandma had been there and seen it happen. It was a kindergardener and a car backed into it's legs. Luckily, it's alive, and fortunatley we had gotten there RIGHT afterwards, so we didn't see it. It was still horrible. EVERYBODY BE CAREFUL!!! My heart goes out to that family.
